  11. Prepare 1 ” ginger chopped
  12. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  14. Get 1 lime juice
  15. Prepare Few sprigs of coriander leaves chopped
  16. Take 2-3 cashew nuts
  17. Prepare 3 Tbsp oil plus some more
  18. Take Salt as per taste

Take white ball and flatten it, place green ball inside it and cover it. Heat oil for deepfrying, drop ball in medium hot oil and fry till golden. Drain and add immediately into the syrup. I am a suji lover, and this recipe is really awesome.

Instructions to make Suji Balls:
  1. In a wok roast the Sooji until you get an aroma. Set aside
  2. In another wok heat 3 Tbsp oil, add chopped ginger and chopped green chilies. Stir and add some salt. Stir and add coconut water. Boil
  3. Add roasted sooji into it and keep stirring so that there is no lump. On low flame keep stirring. Cover for 10 mins. Remove the cover. All water would have been absorbed. Stir and set aside. Cool.
  4. Knead a soft dough and make lemon size balls. Grease a steamer and steam for 10 mins. Set aside
  5. In a wok heat oil and add mustard seeds, whole red chilli, cumin seeds, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, curry leaves and keep stirring. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and add cashew nuts.
  6. Add the steamed Sooji Balls and smear all the spices into the Balls. Set aside
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander and lime juice and enjoy
