- Make ready 250 gms cauliflower small florets

- Get 4 tbsp ghee

- Prepare 1 tbsp green chillies ginger paste
- Get 1 tbsp garlic coarse paste
- Make ready 3 tomatoes chopped
- Prepare For coconut milk(11/2 cup)
- Take 1/2 coconut. chopped into small pieces
- Make ready 1 glass water
- Prepare 1 tbsp corn flour dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
- Prepare For spaghetti
- Prepare 200 gms spaghetti
- Prepare For mint concoction water
- Get 1/4 cup mint leaves (phudina)
- Take 2 green chillies
- Take to taste Salt
- Take 2 tbsp water
- Take Other ingredients
- Prepare 2 small potato thin crisp fries
- Get 1 cup spicy banana chips
- Take 1/4 cup roasted peanuts(de skin)
- Take to taste Chilli sauce
- Take to taste Soy sauce
This chicken curry infused in mild spices cooked in coconut milk curry is relished with noodles. Cook the spaghetti till a la dente. Khow Suey is a Burmese (from Burma) noodle dish My mom always used spaghetti instead of traditional egg noodles and it worked so well, I've just always stuck with it. Originally from Burma, chicken Khow Suey or Khao Suey is a popular Pakistani dish made of noodles in a coconut/yoghurt based curry topped with condiments.
Steps to make Spaghetti Khowsuey:
- For curry. Heat ghee in big vessel. Add chopped cauliflower, carrot,french beans, green peas,onion and potato pieces.
- Add soda bi carb and salt. Saute for few minutes till soft. Add little water and cook for 5 mins,in between stirring constantly.
- After 5 mins add chopped tomatoes, green chillies ginger paste and garlic coarse paste. Mix and cook till done.
- As veggies being cook, prepare coconut milk…add coconut pieces in mixer jar,grind it. Add water and grind again to smooth paste. Strain this coconut mixture through muslin cloth..to get coconut milk. Keep aside.
- On other gas, keep water filled vessel for boiling. Chopped spaghetti into small pieces. Put in boiling water,add salt and 1 tbsp oil. Boil for 10-12 minutes (till cooked). Strain and keep aside.
- As veggies being cook add coconut milk,boil and add corn flour water. Stir till curry turns thick. Remove from flame.
- For mint concoction…grind mint leaves, chopped green chillies,salt in blender to smooth paste. Add water to make liquid consistency.
- To assemble/ serve..in a plate place boiled little hot spaghetti.
- On it pour curry.
- Sprinkle potato fries,banana chips (crushed),and roasted peanuts.
- On it sprinkle chilli sauce,soya sauce and mint concoction.
- Serve/ Relish Delicious Spaghetti Khowsuey.
