  5. Take 1 cup pasta water + 3-5 chicken bullion cubes OR 1 cup broth. *I used 1 1/2 cups water & 4 cubes
  6. Get 3/4 cup heavy cream *I used 1 cup
  7. Get 3 or 4 garlic cloves, minced or chopped
  8. Get 2 cup sweet peppers, about 2 peppers *I used 3: red, yellow & green
  9. Get 1 oil for cooking
  10. Get 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced * I did not use these
  11. Prepare 1 Any seasonings of your choice to taste. I didn't feel like mine needed it but it depends on the chicken broth/ bullion cubes you use. I recommend waiting to the end for extra seasonings

Instructions to make Sausage & Peppers Skillet:
  1. Slice onions, garlic & peppers, making sure to clean out seeds. Add oil to skillet & saute on med to med low
  2. Now while that cooks, you need to get the pasta started. I salt my water to prevent sticking. Also, slice up the chicken & sausage. Don't forget to occasionally stir the onion & peppers!!
  3. Now add the meats to the peppers & enjoy the heavenly aroma! Heat can be raised to med-med/high. U need that chicken cooked thoroughly!
  4. Once pasta is boiling & almost done, scoop out the water (unless you decide to use broth!) Pour desired amount into a bowl with bullion cubes & mash until dissolved. Add to skillet with meat & peppers.
  5. Add the heavy cream to skillet & stir to blend well. Then add parsley. This will thicken slightly
  6. Drain pasta & add to skillet. Gently toss & fold in.
  7. Once served, you may add the tomatoes but I chose to leave those out. Enjoy!!!
